Listening: A Talk on an Attraction

Listen to a talk about a place to visit in your free time, then answer the questions.

In a listening task you will hear someone talk about a place. Before you listen, read the questions first so you know what information to look for. On the first listen try to understand the general idea — what is the place and why do people like it. On the second listen pay close attention to details like opening times, prices and specific activities that are mentioned.

predict — Think about what you might hear before you listen, based on the questions.
