Listening: An Announcement

Listen to a public announcement and answer the questions.

Before you listen, read all the questions carefully. During the first listening, try to understand the general idea and do not worry about every word. In the second listening, focus on the key words and specific details like times, places and numbers. Always choose your answer based on what you hear in the audio, not on what you think might be true.

⚠️Caution

Pay close attention to numbers and times — the wrong answer choices often include numbers that are close to the correct one.

🚫Common mistake

A common mistake is choosing an answer because it sounds true in real life, not because you heard it in the audio. Always base your answer on what the speaker actually says.
