Listen to a short talk and answer the questions.
When you do a listening task, first read the questions before you listen. This helps you know what information to listen for. During the first listening, try to understand the general idea and main topic. During the second listening, focus on details like numbers, times, and reasons.

key words — important words that carry the main meaning of a sentence
detail — a specific piece of information such as a number, name, or time
inference — an idea you understand from the text even though it is not said directly
distractor — a wrong answer choice that looks possible but is not correct
